Short Course racing has become more and more popular in Southern California and throughout the nation.
At West Coast Raceway, Short Course racing has taken off with almost 80% of our total entries.

The industries first Short Course vehicle was the Traxxas Slash and since it’s emerger many manufactures have followed with their own version of a Short Course vehicle. First we had the 2wd SC Trucks and Now we have 4wd SC Trucks. Companies like Traxxas, Team Associated, HPI, OFNA, Losi, Jammin, Venom, and Kyosho have all come out their version of a Short Course truck wether it’s a 2wd or 4wd. Electric off road racing is on its way back to the top and the Short Course truck has everything to do with it.

On any given race day West Coast Raceway has 4 full heats of 2wd and 4wd SC racing. That is why we’re know as the short course track. This is why it’s such a great idea to have “The Short Course Race” at West Coast Raceway & Hobby.
